About

Small Supports

A collection of small, free tools for everyday difficult moments. They help you pause, organise your thoughts, break a task into a first step, reflect, or find words to say something you already want to say.

Everything runs in your browser. There is no account, and nothing you type is saved, sent, or seen by anyone. You can leave any tool at any time, and nothing is ever lost by stopping.

Burn it. Every tool has a Burn it button as soon as you have written anything. It clears everything on the page immediately, with no undo. Your writing is also cleared automatically if you leave the page and come back, so it is not sitting there waiting for whoever presses Back next.

We also turn off the browser’s own spellcheck and form history inside these tools. Some spellcheckers send what you type to a company’s servers to check it, and form history can keep old entries on a shared computer. Neither is something we want touching what you write here. What we cannot control is your own device: if you copy your words, or take a screenshot, that copy is yours to look after.

We try to do less, not more. A Small Support should not make you feel that an app fixed you. At most, it made this moment a little easier.

What it is not. Small Supports are general wellbeing, organisation, reflection and communication tools. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or emergency support, and they are not a substitute for professional care. If you are concerned about your health or wellbeing, consider speaking with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. For urgent support, see Safety.

Small Supports is intended for people aged 18 and over.
